Orthodontic Repositioning of Impacted Tooth

Abstract
Eruption is the process whereby the forming tooth migrates from its intraosseous location in the jaw to its functional position within the oral cavity. Impactions are teeth so closely in the alveolar bone they are unable to erupt. Impaction of
one
or
more teeth is a common finding.
By the appropriate surgical uncovering and the orthodontic treatment, impacted tooth can be well repositioned to the oral cavity.
In the process of repositioning, the zone of the attached gingiva is important and the pulling force must be mild and continuous.
